Host Checker can be executed in the following modes:
The standalone Host Checker is executed through an ISO install. In this mode Host Checker is executed before the Sonus Application installation to check the hardware and provide results. It provides
pass/fail statement, summarizes differences from standard config.

Integrated Installation Mode
The Host Checker is integrated in the application installer. The Host Checker runs automatically before the OS and application are installed. If the HostCheck is successful, the installation continues and the results are displayed. If there is an unsupported Hardware, the Host Checker displays the failure results and prompts for a server reboot. The installation will not proceed further.
Host Checker in integrated installation mode is not supported with SGX and ASX/ADS.

Post Installation Mode
Host Checker in post installation mode is not supported with SGX and ASX/ADS.
The HostCheck install script is present in the
/root directory and must be run as
root. The script may be executed at any time to audit the current system configuration. This script has the following arguments:
HostCheck [-L] [-D] -p productName
-L–Optional argument to suppress automatic creation of /
-D–Optional argument to display full discovered inventory
