For physical hardware this means that there is some variation from the Standard Configuration, but the software scan be installed and run without issue. Supported Config may have the following variations from the standard configuration:
- Extra Memory
- Extra or Larger Physical Drives
- Extra hardware such as HBA’s for standalone server
- Larger Power Supply
For physical hardware it means that the configuration is not approved, but expected to work. This may be due to the choice of optional hardware. An unsupported configuration will also be signaled if there is an attempt to install the sbc on native hardware. The return code in this case will be 255.
