In this section:

Follow the instructions in this section to restore an alarm that is cleared. All cleared alarms under an Event ID can be selected and restored using the bulk restore method in the Alarms Event ID screen. Individual alarm instances can be selected and restored in the Alarms Event ID screen or the Alarm screen.

To Restore an Alarm (Bulk Restore)

  1. From the Alarm Dashboard, click the Cleared alarm count.

  2. Click the Event ID.

  3. Select all Instance IDs of the alarm to restore (check Select All).


             
  4. Click Restore Selected.

    Tip

    Individual alarm instances can be selected and restored in the Alarms Event ID screen.

  5. Click Confirm at the prompt.

  6. Click the required alarm count in the Alarm Dashboard to verify the alarm is restored.

To Restore an Individual Alarm

  1. From the Alarm Dashboard, click the Cleared alarm count.

  2. Click the Event ID.

  3. Click the required alarm instance under the Event Time heading.
         

         
  4. Click Restore Alarm.

  5. Click Confirm at the prompt.

  6. Click the relevant alarm count (Critical, Major, Minor, or Warning) in the Alarm Dashboard to verify the alarm is restored to the correct active alarm severity.
      

Note

The name or user ID in the Clear By field is cleared when an alarm is restored.
