ParameterLength/RangeDescription
tlsPeerName0 to 255 characters

<TLS peer name(s)> – Use this parameter to associate one or more TLS peer names with this trunk group using either the host name or the IP address using the following rules.

  • The maximum number of characters allowed is 255.
  • Separate multiple TLS peer names with a comma.

If the tlsPeerName is in IP address format, the SBC validates it against the IP address entries in the Subject Alternate Name Extension (SAN) field. Otherwise, the TLS peer name is compared against DNS entries in the SAN plus the Common Name (CN) in the subject field.

NOTE: This field is used in conjunction with the TLS Profile parameter, peerNameVerify, to verify the authenticity of a client certificate. If peerNameVerify is disabled, tlsPeerName is ignored for this SIP trunk group.

NOTE: This field does not support wildcards or regular expressions.
