This page describes the procedure for restoring your Sonus SBC 1000/2000 system configuration from a file saved using the Backup Configuration functionality.

Restoring a Sonus SBC 1000/2000 Backup Configuration

This operation can be accessed either via the Tasks Tab or the Settings Tab:

    1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
    2. In the left navigation pane, under the System, click Backup/Restore Config.

      Important Note

      The Restore function accepts only .tar and .tar.gz file types only.

    3. Under the Operation menu, select Restore Configuration and click OK.
    4. Under Select File, browse and select the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 backup file you wish to restore.
    5. Click OK- the following popup will appear:

    6. In the confirmation dialog, click OK
    1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
    2. In the left navigation pane, go to System > Note-Level Settings.

    3. Click the Restore Config link in the upper right hand side of the Node-Level Settings window.
    4. In the Restore Configuration to Sonus SBC 1000/2000popup window, browse and select the backup file.

    5. Click OK- the following popup will appear:

    6. In the confirmation dialog, click OK

    The Sonus SBC 1000/2000 takes about 3 minutes to reboot and become operational.
