This article describes the process of configuring a Sonus SBC 1000/2000 for deployment in an ISDN environment using Microsoft Office Communication Server (OCS) 2007 R2 to support connectivity between OCS 2007 R2 and PSTN. 

The OCS 2007 Setup configuration Wizard allows you to rapidly configure the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 for integration with OCS 2007. Although you can manually configure the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 for integration with OCS, it is highly recommended that you use the wizard:

Accessing the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 OCS 2007 Setup Wizard

The OCS 2007 Setup Wizard does not overwrite nor replace existing Sonus SBC 1000/2000 configuration. Wizard resources are created on top of existing Sonus SBC 1000/2000 configuration items.

  1. In the WebUI, navigate to the Tasks tab.
  2. Click OCS 2007 Setup in the left pane.
  3. Fill in the desired information for a PSTN – Sonus SBC 1000/2000 – MS OCS 2007 R2 deployment.
    (tick) For a SIP Trunking deployment, please refer to Deploying the Sonus SBC 1000-2000 and OCS 2007 with a SIP Trunk Provider
  4. Click OK.
