You can generate Certificate Signing Request (CSR) to be sent to a trusted Certificate Authority (CA) for signing and later importing on the Sonus SBC 1000/2000. This is typically done when requesting a new security certificate from the CA or when renewing an existing certificate.
- In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
In the left navigation pane, go to Security > SBC Certificates > Generate Sonus SBC CSR.
Under the Subject Distinguished Name panel, fill in the fields pertaining to your environment.
The Common Name field should be of the form
Host.Domain specified as specified while Running Initial Setup.
Important Note: the Subject Alternative Name DNS field should not be entered unless required by your environment/topology.
Once you have filled in the form, click OK. The CSR will be generated and displayed in the result text box.
