The Sonus SBC 1000/2000 Web interface includes a built-in step-by-step setup Easy Configuration wizard, which enables end-users to quickly deploy Sonus SBC 1000/2000 and Skype for Business/Lync for various options, as well as SIP with IP Phones. Based on a template, you are able to configure items such as endpoint (define user and provider), routing (routing configuration applied to scenario), and country (tone table parameters and emergency numbers for a particular country). Through this method, you can easily configure the SBC according to your topology.

The wizard produces three different configuration options, depending on the desired deployment:

  • SIP  ↔ Skype for Business/Lync
  • ISDN PRI ↔ Skype for Business/Lync
  • SIP ↔ IP Phones
  • FXO ↔ Skype for Business/Lync
