View R2 Channel Profile

At the directory tree, expand the Channel Profile Tables. Select the Default CAS R2 profile.

Add R2 Channel Profile

Not possible: lines cannot be added to any channel profile table.

Modify R2 Channel Profile

Either double-click on a line in the Channel Profile Table for a CAS R2 type, or highlight a line and use the Edit... popup menu option to access the dialog box for a line in this table.

Description

R2 Map Table

Specifies the R2 mapping table to be used. See the R2 Mapping topic for more details.

Digits Before ANI

Specifies the digits before ANI. This is used with fixed-length dialing and indicates how many digits in the received string are called number, the rest is treated as ANI. When set to 0, fixed length dialing is not used.

DTMF/MF Digit Level

Volume of DTMF tones generated, as a value in the range 1 to 32.

Inband Info Location

Whether to send Inband Information available on the Progress or Alert messages.

Language

Specifies the language code that will be sent if the peer switch requests it.

Destination Type

Specifies the destination as international or national

Interregister Signaling

Specifies interregister signaling as compelled, non-compelled or semi-compelled

Group B Signals

Enables or disables group B signaling.

No ANI Function

Configures the no ANI function as disabled, end-signaling, or request-not-accepted.
When disabled is specified, ANI processing is disabled. ANI will not be requested from the switch and ANI requests are not recognized.
When End of Signaling is specified and when no ANI is available, a request for ANI is replied to with 'End of Signaling'.
When Request Not Accepted is specified and when no ANI is available, a request for ANI is replied to with 'Request Not Accepted'.

Q.422

Specifies Q.442 control for R2 signaling. Q.442 specifies a pulsed tone system that enables stopping compelled signalling during peer call setup. In Normal mode, Q.442 is used as in the specification. When set to disable on Group B , Q.442 is disabled when Group B signals are enabled.

Interdigit timeout

Specifies the interdigit timeout timer in milliseconds.

500 ms

Digit on time

Specifies the digit on time timer in milliseconds. Only used for non-compelled and pulsed tones.

250 ms

Digit off time

Specifies the digit off time timer in milliseconds. Only used for non-compelled and pulsed tones.

100 ms

Seize Ack Time

Specifies the seize acknowledgement timer in milliseconds

4000 ms

Bit Debounce Time

Set the time in ms that bits must remain stable before they are processed (0=default).
