View ISDN Channel Profile

At the directory tree, expand the Channel Profile Tables select the Default ISDN profile.

Modify ISDN Channel Profile

Either double-click on a line in the Channel Profile Table for an ISDN type, or highlight a line and use the Edit... popup menu option to access the dialog box for a line in this table.

The T3xx timers below are rounded down to the nearest second. For example, entering 500ms rounds down to 0 seconds and entering 1500ms rounds down to 1 second.

Tone Table

Select a Tone Table for use with this channel.
Default: None

Voice Prompt Table

Select a table to use for Multilevel Precedence and Preemption (MLPP) voice prompts.
Default: None

Service Tones

Determines whether to play service tones.
Default: Yes

Overlapped Sending

Changes the way an outbound call is setup. With this option enabled, the called number is not sent with the initial call setup message, but is passed in subsequent information messages.
Default: Off. Related: Overlapping Receiving

Setup Progress Indicator

Specifies whether the progress Information Element (IE)=3 is present on setup messages when the call comes from a simple signaling such as R.
Default: Enabled

Ignore Disconnect PI

Enable or disable disconnect PI.
Default: Enabled

Overlapping Receiving

Changes the way an inbound call is setup. With this option enabled, a received call does not include the called number with the initial call setup message, but is passed in subsequent information messages.

Use only the 'X' wildcard in the call routing table for incoming Trunk Groups that have overlap receiving. The VX does not support + or $ wildcard characters when receiving overlap dialing.

Restart on Idle

Sends a RESTART message when this ISDN channel moves from an out of service (OOS) state to the idle state.
Default: never

Service Messaging

Enables the use of service messages on this ISDN channel.
Default: Enabled

Preemption Tones

Whether the channel should play preemption tones when clearing, or just clear the call. When preemption tones are used, the ISDN channel will not clear automatically, the user must acknowledge the tones by hanging up.
Default: No

Protocol Identifier

Specifies how the ASN.1 protocol is identified, which depends on the switch and ISDN protocol you are using.
Default: ROSE

ASN.1 Numbering Space

Specifies the use of a local or global numbering space for ASN.1. A local numbering space is generally protocol specific. A global numbering space is understood across all protocols and is registered as a known ITU/ISO Object Identifier (OID).

Default: local

Include NFE and IA PDU

Include the Network Facility Extension (NFE) and Interception Authorization (IA) information as Protocol Data Units (PDU) within calls.
Default: Enabled.

Binary Facility to Request

Binary facility to be sent in "Network specific facilities" IE in outbound ISDN setup message (only for AT&T variant following TR41459_99)

Network Identification Details

Type of network ID to be sent in "Network specific facilities" IE in outbound ISDN setup message (only for AT&T variant following TR41459_99)

Display IE on NI-2 user side

Enabling or disabling controls whether a Display IE is to be sent to the ISDN trunk when VX is configured as user side.

Interdigit Timeout

The time to wait for digits before timing out.
Default: 500 ms

T301 Ringing Timeout

Specifies the Ringing timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 180000 ms

T302 Overlapped Sending IDD

Specifies the overlapped sending IDD in milliseconds
Default: 15000 ms

T303 Setup Sent Timeout

Specifies the setup sent timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 4000 ms

T305 Disconnect Sent Timeout

Specifies the disconnect sent timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 30000 ms

T308 Release Sent Timeout

Specifies the release sent timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 4000 ms

T309 D-Channel Down Timeout

Specifies the D-Channel down timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 90000 ms

T310 Call Proceeding Received Timeout

Specifies the call proceeding received timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 10000 ms

T313 Connect Sent Timeout

Specifies the connect sent timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 4000 ms

T314 Segmentation Timeout

Specifies the segmentation timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 4000 ms

T316 Restart Sent Timeout

Specifies the restart sent timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 120000 ms

T322 Status Enquiry Timeout

Specifies the status inquiry timeout timer in milliseconds
Default: 4000ms
