View calling number/name translation

Select the Telephony a calling number/name translation subdirectory for the VX node and view contents at the calling number/name translation Tables screen.

Add calling number/name translation

Insert a new line in the calling number/name translation Tables screen, then double-click the line to present the Edit Call Translation Tables dialog box.

Modify calling number/name translation

Double-click on table line in the calling number/name translation Tables screen, to present the Edit Call Translation Tables dialog box.

Calling Number/Name Translation Entries

The calling number/name translation translates the A-side of the connection.

View Calling Number Entries

Select the Telephony > Edit Calling Number subdirectory for the VX node and view contents at the Edit Calling Number Translation screen.

Select enabled from the drop-down box to enable the entry.

Description

Enter an optional text description.

Priority

The Calling Number Translation priority.

Using Regular Expression

Select this checkbox when using the regular expressions feature. See Appendix E for more information about using regular expressions.

InNum

The regular expression to match the calling number against.

Outnum

The regular expression to match the calling number against.

InNum Using AD Field

The Active Directory field to match the calling number against.

OutNum Using AD Field

The Active Directory field to match the calling number against.

InputNum

Number pattern to match the calling number against.

InputNumType

The input numbering type
Set to "Any" to match all numbering types. Select appropriate entry from dropdown dialog box.

InputNumPlan

The input numbering plan
Set to "Any" to match all numbering types.
Select appropriate entry from dropdown dialog box.

OutputNum

Digits to output.

OutputNumType

Output numbering type.
The numbering type that the number will be sent with in the setup message. Select appropriate entry from dropdown dialog box.

CallingPartyCategory

Use this pull down menu to set the calling party category.
This field is only applicable to outgoing ISUP calls. If calling number is translated by the incoming call leg, CPC value obtained during translation will not be passed by the incoming channel to the peer outgoing channel. The CPC value obtained only during the calling name translation of the outgoing ISUP call leg will be included in the outgoing IAM message.

OutputNumPlan

Output numbering plan
The numbering plan that the number will be sent with in the setup message. Select appropriate entry from dropdown dialog box.

InScreen

For caller id, this option identifies inbound screens to handle. Options include: Any, User-Unscreened, User-Verified, User-Failed, Network

OutScreen

For caller id, this option specifies which outbound screen to use. Options include: Any, User-Unscreened, User-Verified, User-Failed, Network

InPresent

Options include: Any, Allowed, Restricted, Unavailable

InName

Name pattern to match the calling name against (match based on regular expressions)
By specifying .* in the Input name and nothing in the Output name fields and by disabling the "Use calling number as named," it is possible to remove the calling names from the calls.

OutPresent

Options include: Untranslated, Allowed, Restricted, Unavailable

OutName

Translated output name based on the regular expression input name.

CallingNumAsName

Use this option to enable the Calling Number as Name feature
The default is disabled.

Redirecting Number

The number configured here will be populated in the Diversion header in the outgoing Invite.
