VXscript is the modular, scripting subsystem that allows VX to provide the following, powerful Interactive Voice Response (IVR) capabilities:

  • Real-time access to database functions via VXgate
  • Playback and recording of audio to and from a call
  • Collection of DTMF digits
  • Complete access to call information

VXscript also supports complex math functions, logic gates, tolerators, and string manipulation allowing flexible, open, and extensible modules (scripts) to be easily constructed. Scripts must be run locally on the VX for time or redundancy sensitive applications. Scripts can be loaded and unloaded during operation.
