Controlling System Power on the VX900

Powering Up the System

  1. Ensure that all cabling is installed and that the power connectors are properly secured.
  2. Press the power rocker switch located on the rear panel of the VX900.

Forcing System Shutdown

To force a hard shutdown of the VX900, first make sure VX is shut down in order to prevent loss of data.

VX900 Power-off

  • Press the power rocker switch located on the rear panel of the VX900.

Controlling System Power on the VX1200

Powering Up the System

  1. Ensure that all cabling is installed and that the power connectors are properly secured.
  2. Press the power rocker switch located on the rear panel of the VX1200.

Forcing System Shutdown

To force a hard shutdown of the VX1200, first make sure VX is shut down in order to prevent loss of data.

VX1200 Power-off

Press the power rocker switch located on the rear panel of the VX1200.

Powering Up the System

  1. Ensure that all cabling is installed and that the power connectors are properly secured.
  2. For DC units, press the circuit breakers for Feed A and Feed B, located on the rear panel of the VX1800.
    or
    For AC units, press the power rocker switches, located on the rear panel of the VX1800.

Forcing System Shutdown

To force a hard shutdown of the VX1800, first make sure VX is shut down in order to prevent loss of data.

VX1800 Power-off

  • For DC units, press the circuit breakers for Feed A and Feed B located on the rear panel of the VX1800.
  • For AC units, press the power rocker switch(es) located on the rear panel of the VX1800.
