Feature cards are located in the PCI slots on the left hand side of the chassis (when viewed from the front) and take up the entire length of the chassis front to rear.

Single Card Location

Looking at the chassis from the feature card side (with the rear of the chassis to the left), the feature card is located in the bottom PCI slot shown below. It is supported on the left side by the front panel slotted into the chassis and secured by a screw (accessible from a hole on the side of the chassis), on the right-hand side. The card is supported on 2 standoffs and secured by screws.

Dual Card Location

The second card sits on top of the first card, which has had 2 standoffs inserted through the first card into the bottom standoffs, then secured by screws. As in the single cards installation, the front panel is slotted into the top slot in the chassis and secured by a screw.

Removing a Single Card
  1. Remove the screw holding in the front panel on the left hand side.
  2. Remove the 2 screws securing the card to the standoffs on the right-hand side.
  3. Gently pull the card away from the PCI slot.
  4. Remove the card from the chassis.
Replacing a Single Card
  1. Place card into the PCI chassis area.
  2. Gently push the card into the bottom PCI slot, ensuring that the front panel slots into the chassis opening on the left-hand side.
  3. Ensure that the cards standoff holes align with the standoffs (may have to re-position the card slightly).
  4. Reinsert standoff screws loosely.
  5. Reinsert front panel screw loosely.
  6. Tighten all screws once satisfied that card is seated correctly.
Removing a Dual Card From the Top Slot
  1. If an H.100 cable connects both cards together, carefully remove the cable from the top board.
  2. Remove the screw holding in the front panel on the left-hand side
  3. Remove the 2 screws securing the card to the standoffs on the right hand side
  4. Gently pull the card away from the PCI slot
  5. Remove the card from the chassis
Replacing a Dual Card into the Top Slot
  1. Place card into the PCI chassis area.
  2. Gently push the card into the top PCI slot, ensuring that the front panel slots into the chassis opening on the left hand side.
  3. Ensure that the cards standoff holes align with the standoffs (may have to re-position the card slightly).
  4. Reinsert standoff screws loosely.
  5. Reinsert front panel screw loosely.
  6. Tighten all screws once satisfied that card is seated correctly.
  7. Gently position and push H.100 cable back into the slot on card (if applicable).
Removing a Dual Card from the Bottom Slot
  1. Follow the procedure for Removing a Dual Card From the Top Slot and remove the top card.
  2. Remove the screw holding in the front panel on the left-hand side.
  3. Remove the 2 standoffs securing the card to the bottom set of standoffs on the right-hand side.
  4. Gently pull the card away from the PCI slot.
  5. Remove the card from the chassis.
Replacing a Dual Card into the Bottom Slot
  1. If an H.100 was installed previously, reinstall onto the card.
  2. Place card into the PCI chassis area.
  3. Gently push the card into the bottom PCI slot, ensuring that the front panel slots into the chassis opening on the left-hand side.
  4. Ensure that the cards standoff holes align with the bottom set of standoffs (may have to re-position the card slightly).
  5. Reinsert the top set of standoffs and tighten.
  6. Reinsert front panel screw and tighten.
  7. Follow the procedure for Replacing a Dual Card into the Top Slot to reinstall the top card.
